backwards walking in 2.0

Walking backwards is new? I could have swore all you have to do is lockon to your target and you would backstep instead of turning around. Probably since lockon is often a hinderance and causes more problems is why people dont know about walking backwards..

yep you have to be locked into a target to walk backwards as of now. thats great if your going to be facing off vs single target, which was fine back in the day. now the name of the game is kill as many targets in succession as inhumanly possible, so the old lockon is useless.

it would also be a pain in pvp, if i see you backpedaling i know your locked onto a target...easy kill just walk up behind you, whoop you with the battle paddle and down you go and with the way the camera works on lock on you'd never see me.

You also have to be in active mode which is why you dont turn around

So they added walking backwards while locked on in passive mode. /shrug
if youre someone that likes locking on this would be a good thing for you. if not, then it doesnt effect.
