Musketeer would make sense because they have a flashing look and style but also they would need a history and tail of origin. I could see most the jobs we have now have a place in this world but if you don't care about that stuff, then why play it?

I could see Musketeers originating from LL, with the use of muskets as range weapons and fence-swords. I don't see why Marauder doesn't use a gun because I saw it being use in the opening-tutorial cutscene, so this is weird. Musketeer would have access to some spells but I would focus them as mages, only spells that would enhance their ability(and maybe their party) to melee.

Musketeer already exist in the game they even have a guild and the Maelstrom GC leader is a musketeer.

They should NOT be mages and should NOT focus on a support role.
Archer was once a ranged DD but now as bard they are a support role with access to few mage spells.

It would only make sense to make musketeer a full out DD class and make their job DD focused.

Yes, yes, I did actually say focus them as mages(my bad) but not like it's their strong point. Paladins have magic but it isn't their strong point. Their shields are the focus and for Musketeers, their fencing skills and sword-manship + enfeebling should be the focus. With that, they can add enfeeble to the party weapons as well and support with boosting our dmg output. Musketeers should be DD focus with added spice.
