They have not actually said what is happening to the weapons. The primal fights may be being overhauled, but there has been no mention of how the weapons might be otherwise obtainable. They have not been listed as content to be removed at any point.

Black hole of information on this one. Might be true, might be false. The only people who have been claiming it are those making assumptions.

Weapons are items exclusive to 1.0. They will not be obtainable in 2.0.
