Is version 2.0 really coming out before 1-1-13

Well, when I see only PS3 for Closed beta.. does that mean PC version goes straight to Open Beta?

Considering the fact that the downtime for the current 1.0 players could be detrimental for the success of the game, I wouldn't be surprised if they consider the closed betas as a free trial. I mainly think this because if I remember correctly, they said in an interview that the PS3 beta and the PC beta will be running together at the same time. Not only that, but if SE thinks that the PC version doesn't need a closed beta then they must believe that their in-house testing was 100% successful, which is never the case.

While that is all true, they shouldn't have misleading information for 8-9 months, but will see, Gamescom should reveal some information about that, considering how close we are to beta.
