Supposedly more dynamic with the BR system, but if you're expecting an action game you may want to look elsewhere.

As long as they take animation locks out of the game, I don't care what else they do.
I believe it will be the same with a new battle regimen and party-acivated skill system. Oh, and no animation lock/lag. They have given no indication that there will be further changes.

Well I wouldn't say NO animation lock or lag but hopefully severely reduced, preferably negligible.

i dunno i actually prefer a slower pace,
i like strategic positioned actions a lot more than your run of the mill modern mmo "spam that skills as fast as you can till your fingers bleed"

I don't mind animation lock so much but mostly because i belive certain actions should require you to actually...do the action. A strong thrust of your spear from stable footing SHOULD require you to thrust your spear.
Part of the issue comes from the Server lag, UI/client lag, with animation lock on that makes it all feel like crap.
What i do like about the animation lock though, it forces you to think about positioning not only to do the action, but what may happen while your doing the action, and if thats a good idea.
Some of the Animation locks are pretty long though, and some standardization would be helpfull. But if you can run in circles while pulling off WS at the same time i personally think the combat will go downhill a bit.
Getting out of the fire is a good thing, Having to predict if there will be fire before the fire is there, is an extra challenge i enjoy. Now if the server lag will help avoid some of the bull cripe that kills me even when i'm not in the fire i'd be happy.

you know i actually liked the old stamina system we had, which is funny when you think about it the game was fast paced then player base bitches" oh combat to fast me fat eye's cant keep up make me dizzy pressing 1&2 so boring" so a unique system was butchered for a bunch of whiner's (most of which by the way quit the game shortly after the changes.) to what we have now. now people are bitching "Oh combat too slow me so bored, wish you make combat faster".
if there going to stick with the delayed combat i would rather they fine tune the delay than make every one swing a hammer like donkey kong <GB ver>.
