    positioning? it seems they never get positioned properly, do you want for 5-10 for correct positioning/hate or just zerg straight away

    Our most current set up is WHMx1, MNKx2, DRGx2, WARx1, PLDX1, BRDx1.

    First phase is straight to the point.

    PLD tanks garuda. WAR, DRGs and BRD take care of the plumes. MNKs stay on garuda full time. After two jumps, garuda should be close to 65% HP. When garuda is at around 68% just keep auto attacking her and make sure not to get her too low before she jumps. After the third jump, everyone goes all out and the DRGs, WAR and BRD still take care of the barrage of plumes. DRGs and Bards should time their aoes so they can hit them as they're running away from garuda.

    For AB the BRD uses battle voice and casts MP song. WHM casts SS and curaga.

    For the two sisters, the two monks take care of Chirada and the rest of the melees take care of Suprana. One monk should taunt Chirada and then hundred fists right afterwards so the other monk can combo on her with ease. If needed, the DRGs can use Dragonfire Dive on her if she's not going down fast enough.

    When she uses south winds make sure to aoe down the plumes. The monks don't have to if your party is taking care of it, so they can just focus on Garuda here. However if your party is lacking in AoE for whatever reason, the monks should aura pulse it [B]without[B] Fists of Fire.

    When she uses west winds make sure everyone runs to the center and take down the sisters. After that just nuke her down. Make sure to not be in the edge of the arena.

    When she bends the wind everyone go to Garuda and take care of the sisters.

    You can ignore the sisters and just burn down Garuda if she's low enough in HP.

    This is how we currently do Garuda.

    we usually do ours
    PLD(or war)/DRG/DRG/BLM/BLM/BLM/WHM/BRD or
    PLD(or war)/DRG/DRG/MNK/BLM/BLM/WHM/BRD

    (3rd blm is interchangable with any good class, in our case we like our mnk, drg and thm)

    we keep in mind a minimum accuracy average 400 for melee, 450 for mages and then its pretty much same as others, DPS it down. drg+brd on plumes and rest on garuda before the jump. Brd on acc song. Its similar to Ambuters's post so i wont bore pple with the same explanation. If your party meets these requirements the average kill time is 5.5min to 7.5min. Youll actually have leftover food 6min or so for the next run (saves food money >.> yay )

    depends on group I guess. If the war not main tanking stand right of the main tank and uses voke/flash right has sup comes and then collusion the brd/drg when rdy he should never lose hate and Sup should never face another direction but the tanks. Chidara is a little different if using BLMs. Your best blm should use thunder as she comes then get collusion for thundara. Then other blms should be safe to join after collusion. If a BLM happens to pull hate they should do w/e they can to make sure chid is not facing rest of the group. If BLM's are good enough and sanguine rite is on. She should go down very quickly though.

    Our BLM's have around 400int (I'm at 430) and we kill Chid around 15-20secs after she spawns.

    I'm very curious how your BLMs can put out enough DMG to do this fight with only 450 MACC. Your resist rate should be pretty big. or is that unbuffed?

    Well, now I have relic when I go monk, the other one doesn't, but the first time we did it neither of us did.

    Explorer's Choker(I think I used Electrum Gorget +1 when I used the talons, but I'm not sure.)

    Rubellite Ring +1 x2

    Our DDs just aim for 410-420 acc on that fight.

    465+ Magic Accuracy
    435+ Magic Accuracy (min)
    340+ INT
    + brd songs also increase their acc along with whatever food they decide to pig out on at the time.
    If the brds use Af at the time of the song then thats also a bit more bonus to the acc on the songs.

    So Unbuffed so with food and song your around 500+. That makes more sense now.

    Hello,

    I have noticed a significant improvement in magical accuracy when Magic Accuracy is put at 500, versus 480. I've been in situations where with 480 it would occassionally get resisted (1, maybe 2 times per fight), but at 498 0 resists across multiple fights. So 500 is definately a good number to aim for for Magical Accuracy.

    I know Int is the popular choice for everyone, but I would suggest people examine focusing on Magical Attack.
