April 19th is the deadline for Tanaka to tell us exactly wtf is going on with final fantasy xiv.

If he waits any longer than that, the only people who will know about upcoming changes to FFXIV will be those who continue to play the game.

Actually it would be a few days before April 19th. It sometimes takes a day or two for viral news to spread.

Oh so it's some made up important date.
