    I'm usually patient, but seeing FFXI having so many updates this week is getting to me.

    Yeah I try to be patient and optimistic as well but seeing all the juicy things that FFXI is getting, all those update teasers this week... and no news for us on FFXIV yet. Kinda disappointing.
    I know it's a different development team and I know the FFXIV dev team is busy with redoing the basics, but 6 months in some of us do kinda wish that these silly changes to the basics could be done already so we could get actual content for once. Like those voidwatch battles FFXI is getting, seems fun.

    Yeah i'll admit that. I left XI after the second abyssea expansion since I thought i'd spend most of my time in XIV.

    Well its not like the whole patch is going to be centered around one event. Also i'm sure they have multiple sets working on different aspects of the game.

    April 19th is the deadline for Yoshi-P to tell us exactly wtf is going on with final fantasy xiv.

    If he waits any longer than that, the only people who will know about upcoming changes to FFXIV will be those who continue to play the game.

    Actually it would be a few days before April 19th. It sometimes takes a day or two for viral news to spread.
