I can understand a player doing it. That's not the problem, SE did it. They told us the players that are paying are the ONLY one who get to know what happened. That trailer clearly says and shows what happens. That isn't fair. It should have been shown well after 2.0 launched if anything. Not before it. And it could have been done without spoiling how we survive.

I don't know about you, but I enjoyed my time in 1.0

It will show in what you know, and the things you experienced. You get to see it first hand, over time with your friends and companions. Square enix can't force you to enjoy it but to feel entitled to the story alone is a bit of a stretch.

^ LIKED! I am enjoying my time in 1.0 and am really looking foward to 2.0 and hopfully all the new players it will bring. It's nice to know that I was here before the story that all the 2.0 players will know. It's always nice to have some backstory or history to a game.
