    There's obvious ports in all 3 cities. The Grid one is down stairs from the pub. The Airport in Limsa is on the upper 3rd floor of the pub, and the Ul'Dah one is that long thing that sticks out when you look at the city from a distance, once again, on a 3rd floor we can't yet access.

    chocobo breeding is in ff11. And honestly unless you had tins of money and time, your chocobo would be slower then the rented one. It also was a mnth wait. It was kinda fun but also a big pain in the butt. If they add it in this game I hope they make it a bit easier. And less costly to have a decent chocobo for personal travel. Oh and it was 25K to recharge the necklace.

    I personally want to see personal airships like in ff9 i loved the scene where the black watlz is chasing the characters. I love flying. It can be something like a higher level travel style (similar to WoW flying mounts) The catch is we need to get it build AND complete a test course.

    I hope they add manaclippers again, I loved those in ff11. Would be great for fishers to do deep sea fishing or reef fishing.

    Also those against anima though outside the game there is lore involving it. Traveling to the aertherite (sp) stresses the body out and anima is a fail safe so we don't die.

    Make it easier? It was easy and fun to do! Come on ... I want to play a game. What is the fun of making everything easy. If you don't want to get too involved go watch a movie or something.

    Chocobe breeding was fun and something nice to do besides all the standard stuff every MMO has. I would agree with you if breeding was the only way you could ride a chocobo, but since it was something aside it was fun as it was. If it was the only way to ride a chocobo I would understand and agree they should make it easy to access, but that was not the case.

    Don't take this personal, but I really hate it people are trying to take the fun out of a game, because they are lazy and want everything now, easy and on a silver plate ... where is the fun and the feeling of accomplishing something.

    3) Remove the teleport party aspect to Anima usage (casual/solo players won't need it) and introduce teleport spells to the game (which will suit party/hardcore play).
    4) Remove the ability to teleport people to crystals which they haven't yet visited by other means.

    I think this will go a long way to balancing out our transportation methods after chocobos and airships are introduced.
    I don't think anyone is contesting the necessity of the anima system at the current time.

    However, I've been playing since launch, and I've never during that entire time gotten stuck in a place where my character couldn't get out (I haven't gotten stuck at all, actually, even though I've spent a bunch of time exploring), so I don't think the initial argument has a significant amount of merit.

    I agree. Raising a chocobo needs to be fun and getting the perfect choco should feel like an accomplishment. The game needs to have us feeling accomplish not facerolling on some buttons, drooling on enter, and obtaining everything.

    There's a port in Gridania, doofus. Go downstairs at the Adventurers' Guild. For Ul'dah, it's probably on the third floor. For Limsa Lominsa, it's the northern entrance, or the lift.

    I am fine with no chocobos or airships. Just allow us to teleport without charging Anima. This will result in more people being online, because we can go anywhere at any time. I usually don't participate in party play because I dont have the Anima go get there. Also people are not leaving the Uldah area to go to other cities. Boring... Just let us port.

    Personally i'm all for lowering the rate we get anima and/or the amount we have if we get chocobos and airships. Someone mentioned taking away the group teleport aspect from anima and instead giving mages an ability to telport others, I think thats a good idea as well.
