    My guess for Limsa is that it is the same place where the ferry pulls into port.

    Well Im sometimes tired of walking al the way.
    So Chocobos would be nice.

    Chocobo raising sounds good, another addition would be to have quests or something else so the Chocobo can learn to walk ofer Rivers or over mountains(in a certain high) like FFVII?
    Even though i dont know if this suits the game.

    There are lots of locked and closed pathways around Limsa, I wouldn't be surprised if one of those became the way to the airship port.

    Yep you can get a really clear view of it from down around the blacksmith/armorer guild.

    I want other mounts other than chocobos. I know people will say, "This is final fantasy, no other mounts other than chocobo is possible!" I would like to ride tigers, wolves, dodos, sheep, horses, dragons, giant earthworms, turtles, eagles, raptors, flying carpets, flying discs, etc... During an interview, it was said that chocobos will have another purpose other than the usual, so why not other mounts. I would also like an airship and ship that my whole linkshell crew can ride and operate and occasionally be boarded by monsters like the selbina boat in ffxi, maybe ship to ship battle.

    We do not know what they are planning.

    We might not be able to teleport to the new cities for example. We don't know anything.

    I wouldn't mind if we had to use airships and chocobos the most of the time. Keep teleporting and the anima system for the areas up to level 50 and after that switch to airships/chocobos. Fine by me. Just throwing in random ideas, like I said we have no clue what they are planning to do so its hard to give a proper answer.

    Some of you may have forgotten this, but one of the reasons that anima exists in the game is so that players can warp themselves out of terrain that they get stuck in. If you ever got stuck in FFXI, you needed a GM to get you free. The dev team realized early on that players might encounter problems with glitches etc. That is one of the main reasons for the Anima system so it can't be removed entirely, or changed too drastically (my apologies if someone else has stated this earlier in the thread, I didn't get to read it all)

    At any rate, Anima is a necessary system at the moment, but I'm inclined to agree with the OP and some other posters here. Once we have chocobos and airships, It would be nice if the Anima system was scaled back a bit to encourage players into a more authentic FF experience.

    I prefer the following:

    1) Make the 'return' function cost a bit more and have a 30 sec or more charge time.
    2) Limit all other Anima use to the Aetheryte crystal menu - (ie, you need to be at an Aetheryte to use it)
    3) Remove the teleport party aspect to Anima usage (casual/solo players won't need it) and introduce teleport spells to the game (which will suit party/hardcore play).
    4) Remove the ability to teleport people to crystals which they haven't yet visited by other means.

    I think this will go a long way to balancing out our transportation methods after chocobos and airships are introduced.

    Instead of airships... how about Gold Chocobos? Lets fly across the ocean on a bird!!! Other colored birds, except for the plain yellow, can be used like "flying mounts" and cant cross the ocean.

    If you don't want to teleport I suggest you look into Loyalty Mode! It is a special mode that fixes this problem once and for all.
