Actually I remember that as well, they said they was going to allow us to spend it in some way or another similar to what they did with Guild Marks. Though I am sure all our fatigue EXP is long gone from the system, so they probably was hoping we would forget about it.
They told us a while back they were doing away with it. It was some Tanaka thing that he never even fully planned.
