But I still can't figure out how to use this teleporting feature. All I get is the option to set as a home point, which isn't very useful. Also, how do I set the Inn as a return point?

Nothing is shown under it. All the different options are empty.

You can only teleport to places you have been. Once you have touched some crystals you can open your menu and choose Teleport. There you will find a list of zones. Click on one of the zones and all the crystals you are attuned to will be displayed. Then you can click on the location you want and after confirming you really want to go, you will be teleported.

That's the problem.. even though I've been to the locations, nothing is showing.

You have been to the crystal and a message displayed that "You have reached camp suchandsuch"? You have to actually click on the crystal or it does not work.

Attune yourself to the aetherytes, just like the tutorial quest tells you to do. If you've done any leves at any camps, you will have those available.

Things are broken up by region. Thanalan covers Ul'dah and the surrounding areas, The Black Shroud covers Gridania's region, La Noscea covers Limsa Lominsa.

As far as Inn HP, you will need to do the city's Inn quest to unlock it and then speak with the entry NPC. There will be an option to set it as your secondary home point.

This is the FFXIV forums, everyones an ass (well not everyon, 99.9999%). I would suggest going somewhere else and ask questions, you will get more help in just normal game forums that isnt FFXIV only, even if the ppl that answer you dont play they will help you out and try there best to help and not act like smug pricks. Just a friendly suggestion since u seem to be new, but im being very serious on this don't use these forums for info. just for laughs and giggles.
