The addition of PvP is one thing that will expand FFXIV's subscriber base beyond the infinitesimal crowd of supporters we have now and ultimately restore FFXIV's tarnished reputation. Especially with the PS3 release, PvP will attract a whole new demographic to FFXIV which greatly increases the chances that its "rebirth" will be a success. That means more revenue for SE which equals more resources at their disposal to make this game better in the years to come. You can definitely add me to the pro list.
