For me it was a pretty simple choice. I found my tank was having to work harder to keep hate and that I was having to hate manage much more with the Talons. This told me all I needed to know and I turned my ifrits claws in for seals.

Not really a very good indicator lol. Not every tank is constant on enmity every fight.
2,800 seals takes so little time now anyway with caravans or totorak I dont think I could ever part with any of my 21 primal weaps.
Perhaps I should have been clearer. We've used the same tank in the same fight in the same gear for a while now. The results over many runs were fairly convincing to me.
Late reply but I would much rather grab a militia earring and double meld some – enmity to a peisteskin hunting belt (total -50 emnity) than gimp your DPS on purpose.
Yeah I preferred to make the tank work harder. He's got even better gear since this and his gear was already very good, he manages to keep hate almost all the time. I only use the talons for soloing now I prefer the limsa sergeants hooks for the int with sanction. I wouldn't want to put -emnity on a belt either when I can put sanguinary might on it instead and make him work even harder. My gear setup puts me just over the str and int caps with sanction and I have 72 crit att power on the body to make him sweat a lil more. Other than getting that belt with danguinary might I doubt I'll be doing anything with my gear setup until I have to think about adjusting it once I get relic fists.
