How is this different from tell or linkshells? Or do you mean on-the-fly linkshells being created?

ehm its a private chat? in a linkshell you normally talk to 20+ persons at the same time. a private chate would create a new window to chat with friend, not being in your LS.

or chatting with bigger groups of people. in Dark Age of Camelot for example you could form battlegroups, more than one group, (and battlegroup chats) for bigger encounters

I think this is already implemented. You can search for a group or list yourself as searching for people to join your group. Or are you looking for something different?

Not its not.. you can search for groups.
But not for groups who are actual seeking players.

in FFXI (10 years ago!) there was an option for groups to flag themselves as "recruiting players".
its an advantage for the group and a single player itself.

right now only a solo player can flag himself for "looking for group" and not the way around, that groups flag themselves for seeking people.


it doesnt bring for me anything to search for groups when i dont know if they are even looking for members right now, and for which aim. i often ask groups and they say "sorry we are not looking for members atm"
