To be honest I’m expecting to be ripped apart myself. And I'm well aware how nitpicky it looks to most people. There are far more productive things to be coding at this time.

But I just wanted to get my suggestion out there as it’s not much additional work. (Plus this is nothing in comparison to additional emotes which they are planning to add)

My stance is: If we change tiny details in the character creation such as highlights, tattoos, eye color, nose, eyebrows which are barely noticeable by other players then why can’t we have a bit of control over our appearance in-game as well. This requires no additional textures or animation. It’s just a bit of code to remove the appearance of some equipment which looks a little odd for some players.

    The more customization, the better.

And I agree with you Req. They are extremely noticeable for me.

if we can show support for it now, it might be implemented later. I don't think anyone expects this to be available in 2.0 release. but available at 2.3 patch may be reasonable. so even if there are more pressing things, doesn't mean this can't be moved to a back burner team. it is additional content afterall. even people who don't vocallys upport this kind of thing wont' likely complain about it if it is implemented. nice to haves are almost as important as need to haves when considering new content.
