Suggestion: /display ears off

I have a very minor suggestion,

The “/display head off” command was added last year, I was wondering if it’s possible to do the same for the ear slot? I would love to be able to remove the visual appearance of earrings from my character while still keeping the stat bonus.

Perhaps it’s just me, but I really dislike seeing big jangly pearl earrings hanging off my male Lalafell. I just find them distracting and slightly annoying to look at (Perhaps I have minor OCD). Not that I have anything against males wearing earrings, it’s just my preference for my character.

I know SE have bigger fish to fry at this time, but I’m sure the coding wouldn’t be that much different from “/display head off”.

I’m wondering if anyone else out there has the same opinion?

But now I see you mean earrings. I must say, I kind of agree with this. Since having earrings was one of the character creation options, and I specifically selected to have none.

Rina's right, though. But even if it is rather nitpicky, we ought to be able to customize every aspect of our appearance without sacrificing our character stats.

Vanity slots + /display whatever off = more ways to look different from the rest, been done successfully in many other MMOs, no real reason not to have it here, imho.

I've been hoping for this for far too long.

There's just something about a Warrior with little black earrings on show that doesn't look quite right.
