    You give no reason for not wanting it.
    Utsusemi was added as a means of self preservation, as Ninja historically have less HP than the heavier armor jobs like PLD, WAR, Knight and so on. The players abused recast timers, Evasion stacking and the then-no loss of enmity to make it a tank. Instead of what would have been done by Trion, Blizzard, Gravity and Cryptic, it was left alone rather than nerfed, dooming Ninja to be a tank despite concept-wise being the very antithesis of what makes a tank a tank.

    A ninja strikes from the shadows for quick kills, has the slew of standard jutsu and (in final Fantasy) are known for Throwing. It's not the guy that has the enemy's attention. Shadow wasn't a tank. Edge wasn't a tank. Hayabusa Ryuu was not a tank. It went against the very image of the Ninja, and it understandably pissed some people off.

    Not to mention Utsusemi broke encounter balance for a long time to come in XI. Now why would anyone want a repeat of that?

    * The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.
