I'm pretty sure the only mourning anyone does on Christmas is if you're a kid who's family doesn't celebrate Christmas while all your other friends get presents.

Seriously, how could celebrating the birth of the Christian saviour be mourning? It's a very happy day.

Well I'll give you that since I don't care for Christmas anyways (I actually don't do anything for any holiday, 'cept maybe Easter and 420).

Yeah lol Americans celebrate Cinco de Mayo for an excuse to get drunk, when real Mexicans care way less about the day.

Actually, Cinco de Mayo is mostly celebrated by immigrants and neo-socialist groups.

I find irony in the fact that in the Canada Day thread people wished each other well. However, in an American holiday thread it turned into a pissing contest. Go figure...

Happy 4th to everyone in our country (USA) - take a minute to reflect and realize that we live in one of the most prosperous nations in the world. Remember that we live in the least violent era in written history. And remember the sacrifices that many paid so we can have these privileges. Remember all of that and then take 5 seconds to donate a couple of bucks to a nonprofit.
