Someone got 1 weapon per run every time for you? More importantly, a weapon they didn't have? If you think about it not only does that person in ifrit have to get a drop, but then there's the 1/7 chance they get the one they want. You only need 1 item x3, it's not like you get only tremor in hyrstmill and vortex never drops.

unfortunately, wether or not you already have an item doesnt change its drp rate....

but thats irrelevent i guess, and yes we usualy always see 1 person get an item every drop when we do ifrit

That is actually pretty lucky, I would say they drop as about as often as weapons for us anyways which seems about 1 every few runs. Though one can always get unlucky we have went a whole day and maybe one seal dropped and then there are days where one seems to drop every run. Seems about right to me, by the time I get all my seals I'll have all the gear I want from them as well.

How does it not change the drop rate? The drop rate of a specific weapon is a 1/7 of what the drop rate for a random weapon to drop. If one that drops becomes obsolete then yes, hamlet definitely does have better drop rate unless you decide to get past the 3 seal mark for some reason? Also, getting 1 drop per run, you must have had quite the lucky groups. I'd say 2 every 3 sounds about right, on good days.

if gear drops every time, its a 100% drop rate

if gear drops half the time, its 50% drop rate

just because something drops that you dont want, doesnt mean it doesnt count as a drop, thats what im saying, and thats a very very simple thing to understand

Simple depending on what you want. First of all, believing that ifrit drops at least 1 weapon per run is a fantasy. I'm also not saying that it doesn't count as a drop, but that it is useless to you unless you got what you are aiming for. In Hamlet, the drop most people want are seals. However there is only 1 seal type per hamlet, so you are only going for 1 item type.

There's a difference between getting something you want or getting a drop of something you didn't want. Seals affect all weapons, ifrit weapons have a 1/7 chance of giving you what you want. Sure getting a weapon in ifrit wasn't too bad, but my first weapon was a cnj staff, boy was I happy. /end sarcasm.

So yes, you could say ifrit has a better drop rate of giving you something, but I could say the same thing with hamlet since there's a 100% chance drop of the hats that are decent at most. So if you're aiming for just a drop, hamlet already has a better chance. If you're aiming for something you do want, I'd say hamlet has at least the same chance.

I've spent less time doing hamlet than I did doing ifrit, and I've already gotten more seals than weapons. Considering that this will affect all relic weapons, I'd say with the importance of it, the drop rate isn't bad at all if you have an organized system.

I don't disagree but the thread title is Hamlet Seal drop rate. So it's drop rate for seal only.

yes, which is around 30-50% at 60k+ runs, which isnt too too bad considering

and even moreso since weve confirmed you DO NOT need to do the hamlet end of things multiple times if you are going for multiple relics

At 40% drop rate, that's over 100 hours of Hamlet Defense to get seals for a full party. That is way too much for something as boring as Hamlet Defense.
