the aggro icon doesn't make this game easy. Thoswe who claim it is don;t even know what easy is. Its a poor weak complaint. As for ffxi the game was time consuming and if you couldn't play 6+ hours you pretty much couldn't do anything. I used to play 2 hrs a day. it was ok till 30. After 30 is when i ended having to spead a ton of money to get my own ps2 and wireless network stuff just to play longer. Games are only supose to be fun for those who choose to play them. Games are only as easy or as hard as you make them. Maybe you guys should just play ffxi? just don't do abyssea. The game isn't easy at all. If anything its more solo friendly.

If you don;t like the casual style this game is going in, instead of being a for lack of better terms a troll. Just stop playing. Its not like you guys actually liked this game to begin with.

for the record a gane being in easy mode is when you cab solo a "increadibly tough" for 10K exp and it giving you 8 levels for 1 kil. THAT is easy mode.

i would pre-fare a text like the one you mentioned in beta of a physical sign from the mob (i.e a billy rearing on its back legs or kicking its feet) if i had a choice
Exactly. I walked near a crab and it reared up. I walked near the billy and it postured to charge. What did I do? I backed the **** off, that's what I did, because it was larger than I was and checked orange. Do those agro? I don't care, it didn't want me there and I had no reason to be there. End of story.

I see something that looks mean and checks more than blue and if I'm not looking to die, I take the scenic route.

If I suddenly notice that the MARMOTS are RED cons, I ask myself what I'm doing there and tread very. Very. Lightly. And at night? Are you kidding me? Get out of there. You don't belong in an unfamiliar zone, way over your head, in the middle of the night, wandering around, unfamiliar with the local wildlife.

    It's called sense.

A person in that situation has 10 ways to die, and their own buffoonery is 8 of them.

This experience is the only sense of adventure FFXIV has (well, had). The only thing that ever brought my pulse above 70 BPM in this game (besides out of frustration (crafting)) was on Sep22 when I went around collecting all the warp points as a level 1. Damn that was intense.

It's not the toggle. It's the player Square Enix is catering to with this update that we don't really care to run the game. Dunno how much clearer that can be. If you can't navigate a zone without dying to agro, go play an easier game because you're Fischer Pricing this one up way too much.

We can't toggle the bad's influence off. Believe us, we would if we could.

Just shut up. You don't even play the game so you, honestly, have no idea of what the game is actually like. In regards to your last statement, I saw a r1 gladiator go to r11 in 1 levequest just 2 nights ago. Now tell me that isn't easy mode.

Healer strike is ridiculously foolish and accomplishes nothing

    @ pwer and rolf

and for me that is a good 4 hours of wasted time i coulda spent getting to the location i needed to get to. I'm no idiot but I also don't like wasting time. I think you guys really are not meant for gaming since you want too many artificial limitations. Games are meant to be fun, if you want that sence of adventure go to oblivion scale the difficaulty to max hard and enjoy.

ppl in ffxi used windower and it gave them all sorts of info. ppl also had the strat guide for ffxi which akso have them info on the mobs. the game is just giving you some stuff a strat guide would. Or a website. which again is less time consuming. If you want a true sence of adventure turn off names and only walk around. Never run. never use anima.

did he do it solo? and on one mob?

in ffxi even before all the exp ring it didn't take much to get from 1-11. I even had hunt grounds i love going to. I could solo as a rdm or whm to 13 in ffxi just in the ruin tower in windurst near giddus. Also they did recently make the curce from 1-20 a bit quicker. so its not like you know. And fyi i play tons of game leveling is just about the same in all of them. you go on quests/ kill mobs to level up. so really how is ffxiv any different? how is ffxiv different from ffxi?

We actually made pornographic amounts of fun of the people who used FFXI's strategy guide.
