Can't wait for the 2.0 site to go live, I imagine they'll showcase "zones" within the game that capture the same feel as everything above.

They need to add a Dragon's Aery
I am a fan of the sylph villages

I secretly wish for the Black Mage Village from FFIX . . . and maybe dungeons hidden beneath Quicksand! :O
boyahda's good. sanctuary of zi'tah is better.
If you like The Boyhada Tree so much, you can play this great game galled Final Fatasy XI Online and go visit it.
Let FFXIV come up with its own unique areas.
i think the point is simply to have zones we would actually want to explore, and would miss when we're not playing the game
It's all subjective. I enjoyed exploring the areas in the game. Despite the current copypasta (which is supposed to largely go away in 2.0) there are still a lot of great views and hidden/unobvious objects/buildings/caves/secrets. Even though some of the areas are repetitive, you can't say with a straight face that the visuals of the current areas aren't already good.
i don't want this thread to get closed or whatever by comparing this game to others, but i can say with a straight face that while the graphics in this game are great, the zones are boring and soulless and almost without exception i prefer the world designs of most other MMOs i've played
but i trust 2.0 will be better
Really liked TBT as well. Many things to do there, for hundreds of hours.
