8/10 because people bought it.
I think North Korea and South Korea have a better chance at coming together than SE and Activision.

Its cool he did this, and even cooler he had the balls to put it in his letter, considering how ravenous and obnoxious some people get when they feel their MMO-comfort zone is in danger.
I didn't think it was possible to respect Yoshi-P any more than I do now. Once again he proved me wrong!

Yeah, no. Part of me thinks it'd be cool to see a collaboration just to see the fanboys squirm, but I don't think such a thing would ever happen.
Yoshi-P just talked about this Only:Its cool he did this, and even cooler he had the balls to put it in his letter, considering how ravenous and obnoxious some people get when they feel their MMO-comfort zone is in danger.

CGI Techniques.. nothing more.. nothing less... Just him talking to Blizzard alone ( one of the best MMOs out there that was successful) He truly wants this game to succeed. Alos, this game is NOT turning into WOW.. God once people hear FF talk to Bilzzard it's immediately WoW-Clone! :/.I was able to speak with the World of Warcraft, DIABLO III, and cinematic teams about CGI techniques, and game development and operation in general. The Blizzard guys were extremely friendly and open, and I’d like to take this chance to thank them for a very valuable exchange!
They talked about CGI stuff mostly it looks like.. Just a few pointers Nothing game related... :/.
Well, this sounds...valid.
Would explain alot, including why Yoshida was "visiting" Blizzard, why someone completely unknown became producer and director of a main serie FF and even why 2.0 SS doesn't look like FF at all, but resemble some other MMOs.
Even if it was just some assumptions from the IGN dude who wrote it, it was indeed interesting. ^^
Who cares if they talks if they talks about ingame related anyway? who are you, his mom? people talk to competitor alot, its not uncommon in business world.
LOL Umm... did I say/hint to him doing anything besides what he mentioned in the letter...?Yoshi-P just talked about this Only:

I think that Yoshi-P talking with Blizzard can only be a good thing (fanboys go home), but in your own quote:Yoshi-P just talked about this Only:

That said, as you've mentioned, "talking with Blizzard about game development for an hour or two" does not have anything to do with the future direction of this game, and people need to not blow this out of proportion.I was able to speak with the World of Warcraft, DIABLO III, and cinematic teams about CGI techniques, and game development and operation in general. The Blizzard guys were extremely friendly and open, and I’d like to take this chance to thank them for a very valuable exchange!
