I liked that pose as well. Perhaps it could be reintroduced as the visual representation of Outmaneuver or Aegis Boon.

Or, rather. Given Divine Veil auto-blocks... And hey, Aegis Boon does the same. So it'd be neat to make that your basic battle stance when either of those is up!
That said- I don't think the game has the animations to go from block stance to auto-attack (haven't played at that time) so, yeah, neat as it is we can guess when it might be implemented (in the case it is).
