Summoners .... what will they summon?

I would love to see Brothers as an Eidolon spirit of Earth. When you find them, they could even have their own little funny stint like they did back when you found then in FFVIII.

I don't know what they'd introduce for water, though. Bismark? Might be a bit too huge. Syldra? Mist Dragon?

I like Yoshi-P's idea for the primals, but I'm also not ready to give the team a free pass on summoner. If all we can summon is some dinky crap like elementals then I will be pretty annoyed.

ideally for me, the legendary status, well known, popular summons like Odin, Bahamut, Ifrit, Alexander, etc, can all be Primals.

Then stuff like sylph, salamander, around that power level etc can be used for summoner

would also be cool to have a necromancer off-shoot that can summon Lich and Succubus among other things

I'm hoping for summons like carbuncle, Fenrir, typhon, and lesser primals. In the current lore, primals are super sized, super powerful beings, and should stay that way. But that doesn't mean others not currently introduced can't be in the game as summon able pets.

Personally, I hope pets play style is similar to demonology warlock from WoW, with pets filling various party roles, or enhancing the casters own repitoire of spells.

Well I and not talking for anyone else would like to stray away from Carbuncle. I mean doing the solo fights with him was awesome dont get me wrong but after that, besides dynamis beaudine (I know its wrong) having Carbuncle chase after the eye, saw little to no use for carbuncle cause hes fairly weak with both physical and magic, and his buff where outshine by the other avatar buffs.

But like ive suggested in other Summoner posts, to make a Pilgrimage kinda thing where you go to temples like 10 but port you to elemental plains. For instances the Elemental Plain of Light. Where you can meet the Lesser Primals and have choices. Like you can pick between Carbunlce, Mist Dragon or Siren as you Light Primal. That way it kinda makes it more like forming a Partnership , that also makes it that not every two summoners would be alike.
