Summoners .... what will they summon?

I've been resisting the temptation.

Seriously, it was just standing out there, in the air so obvious that it had to be a trap.

Anyways, the primary counterpoint here is that there are sooo many 'Summons' in Final Fantasy lore. I'm glad some of them are being pulled aside as dominant things that are going to be exhausted as 'only one on server'. There are plenty of others summoners can summon in multiples of.

But now I want to know which ones are which. And the concept makes me giddy.

If I seriously get to summon Cait Sith as a pal, I might level Summoner as my mage class.
