We've had no issues with PLD tank ever since the hotfix a few weeks ago, try it out. We like it a lot better than WAR tank.

Curtana also has "Chance to Restore MP" on each hit, so that and the shield you probably won't be running out of MP anytime soon and can use a non-AF body piece.
