I think in order to have a more total land mass change it would be more likely that we as advenurers/heros would infact detonate Dalamund pre impact, thus sending pieces falling across the contient, which would give a better background for all the areas changing instead of a giant crater.
And if your Odin premise is correct then in order to save our land, we would infact destroy his prison pre-impact, thus loosing him on ourselves.
I just don't find the idea of a complete and intact Dalamund crashing into the world making the same changes previewed as many pieces of it falling everywhere, possibly changing the flow of Aether everywhere and thus making widespread and chaotic changes. (yet it seems, luckily leaving the 3 major city-states practicly unchanged)



That's why I am suggesting Alexander is in Dalmund. Sorry to revive what's probably an old thread, but has anyone seen the 1.22b cutscenes? I'm watching them on youtube and I'm even more convinced Odin's a part of this now after seeing them.
Yup, I just did the Castrum Novum quest last night with my LS, and the whole time, I was just grinning like an idiot.The cutscenes were so awesome, too!
