Av and cc make ifrit look like a lot better
As many times as I've read one of these "Drop Rate" threads, I can't help but wonder how they've escaped the attention of the mods and devs. I don't think anyone is really and truly ok with the idea of running the same fight 300+ times to get the 1 item you want. People can say that talking about it is childish or w/e else they want to but it really is an issue and last I checked bringing issues to the table isn't childish. Having your head shoved up your ass doesn't help. Just because you've already done [content] 500+ times and got everything from it doesn't make it not a problem, it just means you've already spent the time. Why are so many people so focused on themselves that they don't want to see better things for the ones that come behind them? Or am I mistaken in thinking that the point of "community" discussions is to make things better for the community? Should the goal here be more of a "keep things shitty cause it was for me and no one should get better stuff than I did" type thing, or is it already?

This is pretty much just the FF forum community. You learn to live with it. Non-pleaseable til death. Would rather and do spend time criticizing someone else than suggesting better ideas for all.Why are so many people so focused on themselves that they don't want to see better things for the ones that come behind them? Yes and no, there's some here that are a bit more enlightened, your obviously one example. I'll just keep hoping that it'll rub off and/or people will drop the terrible-two's attitudes.

Just think that an adventurer I was doing the Ifrit fight with left the game because of the frustration of never being able to score at least 5... nah, 2 simultaneous wins, I guess we scored a total of... 60 fails and 3 wins? With no weapons or Totems?
Fact is that if you are failing something because one member of the party wasn't doing its job perfectly, and not by your almost flawless performance, it grows very... Very frustrating, because you can't complete what you want to complete, no matter what effort you give and what members you get!
Why dont they raise the weapon drop rate, and introduce a similar weapon with the same rarity as what we have now?
best of both worlds..
if you want the boost in stats then youll have to run it this crazy amount of times, people will still run it though it wouldnt feel
like everyone is getting screwed repeatedly through lack of rewards. i guess i mean let the casual get thier rewards, and give the opportunity for the hardcore to gain slightly greater.
sorry for double. phone site sucks sometimes...
Just ran Ifrit 5 times in a row all wins, still nothing >.>. Considering the 15 min wait in between each win and beating takes about 10 mins. That was a good chunk of time wasted.
Fun? Nobody does these fights for fun? Already got all I want from ifrit and moogle and I'm still doing them...
