I don't really think it's because people are "lazy." I personally like doing Ifrit/Moogle with tons of THM/BLM because after 50+ attempts and having nothing to show for it, I don't care about the fight. I want it done ASAP. I'll still run it with any class, but I generally would prefer to run it with what makes the fight easiest/shortest. I'm not afraid of "difficult content" either, I just don't care about making the fight more difficult every single time, when I get absolutely nothing to show for it at the end.
