It is possible that they may add the Padjal (sp?) as a playable race. You know, the kids with the horns from the Gridania story line? They are supposedly chosen by the elementals of the wood. And with the up coming cataclysmic event happening, it would make sense that the elementals would choose more people to be Padjal (sp?).

They'll probably have a paid race change & server transfer options in 2.0

Yoshida already stated the priority is the 'missing genders', no new races initially.

If you want to play a new race you'll definitely start over and not think twice since you can't have your cake and eat it too. They can't keep holding our hands like that or this MMO will get nowhere lol.

The only reason we're getting it the first time is because of the new engine.

Oh I won't start over lol. That would be a waste of my time..and with me starting acting school soon I won't have as much free time! But yeah the option to pay to change would be fine with me

Also if they DO want their MMO to "get places" they should try an appeal to all types of gamers and schedules. Not just "START OVAR AND SPEND WHOLE LIFE ON OUR GAME PLS" no thank you. I am working hard to become a good actor and that is more important to me atm then a game. Prioritiessss~ <3 So yeah I don't agree with instant gratification but I do think they should at least give us the option to pay when releasing a brand new race. If not it is no big deal I will just stay the same
