oh another question i am a PGL so what points do i put with my attributes?

STR and INT are probably where you should put your points, as they are the stats that boost PGL damage. That said, there are merits to having a couple points of VIT or DEX, so you can spread your points around a little bit if you really wanted to, but it is recommended to focus on STR and INT.

I started in Gridania, and I had the beginning starting area quests to do after I got chased by the Treant and had to learn a dance and get a mask ect.
can you do the starting area quests for all of the other cities, or do you have to actually start in that city zone to do the quests?

You can only do the main story quests for the city you started out in. All 3 cities storylines converge at around level 20 to the main empire storyline, and unfortunately for now the unique city storylines are left on a cliffhanger but I think they will be continued in 2.0.

I'm not sure about the questlines in Limsa Lominsa and Gridania. But in Uldah, the city questline directly influences the Goldsmith questline.
