New to the game as well. One Quest: Can I just lvl my Battlecraft jobs and no gathering and crafting stuff until im around lvl30 or when I get my 2nd class? I feel that I should because I'll go poor but I just really wanna focus on one then switch to another.

Honestly, you don't really run into issues doing that. Gathering is good for getting money, because it's just about getting loot, but crafting can often wind up with you losing money while leveling it. If you need money, you can just kill things for drops, or do guildleves.

That said, both ARE nice for convenience factors. What I did personally was take up a job to level 50 so I'd have something for events and quests, and then went back to level the rest of the things so I have more options and can craft/repair/meld my own stuff.

I'll probably do the same, though I leveled another job to 15 so I can get to the new classes then focus one to get to lvl50. Thanks!
