Yes, but im not whining from a point of extreme ignorance/lack of common sense/insert insult here. There's nothing wrong with complaining. There *is* something wrong with complaining about something that you don't even comprehend. The least ppl could do with their complaints is exercise common sense. I'm *all* for complaining, but let's at least pretend to have brain cells when we do it yeah? The complaints in the thread are just retarded, especially considering a trailer without information was *not* going to do *anything* to drum up any sort of mass interest. From a marketing perspective, all it would've been to gamers was a fail game with a new trailer. And anyone with a shred of common sense could see that, but all the community is good for these days is face-rolling drivel on their keyboards.

You know...how does a CGI trailer change anyone's opinion about FFXIV again? Cuz the summary of the thread is: No trailer at E3 = FFXIV 2.0 fail. So my question is, how does a CGI trailer reflect *anything* about the game/gameplay/quality at all? Last I checked, a CGI trailer was just that...CGI. And last I checked, we don't play the game in CGI soooo >_> wth are you guys whining about. A trailer at E3 wasn't going to do shit, especially without a lot of information behind it

But I'm not whining about the CGI trailer I know nothing about, ergo, I'm not whining from a point of ignorance. I'm whining about other ppl's whining, which is fully informed by all of their complaints in this thread I am reading, ergo, it is not from a point of ignorance. It is also fully informed by the producer letter, as well as knowledge of other avenues of PR/hype, ergo, it is not from a point of ignorance. Idk if you get it yet, but read it 2 or 3 more times and I'm sure itll click. Seriously, why make me waste my time on something so dumb. I mean that was a serious fail attempt at trying to use my words against me. It didn't work at all, and it is plainly obvious you tried way too hard. The trick is to not "force" contradictions where they don't exist, and to make it more or less effortless. I fully admitted to whining, but im not being stupid about it. And if you can't honestly see the difference between the two that is a personal matter. I dont know if you were trying to troll or what but that was just silliness. You could've spared me the pain and just used to the last 3 sentences, the ones that make sense. In which case I will reiterate, again, that there is a difference between whining out of ignorance/lack of forethought, or whining after doing some critical thinking. The latter complains for valid reasons, the former complains about the wrong things. If you're going to whine, then whine about not seeing a trailer that you wanted see. Don't whine about how SE is gonna fail, and they messed up, because that is just stupid. I can't stress how stupid that is.
