E3 Expectations

I expect to see in game footage with no lag issues! lol.

On a serious note: a video of current content leading into a CGI for 2.0 and then some short clips of areas fighting etc flicking around, then a fade to black, final fantasy 2.0 new logo fading onto screen, then a sudden flash of Ultima end.

I think if they show this at the Sony stand they're gonna show things that relate it to old final fantasies such as ultima behemoth etc. this will spark new interest in the series fan base. They also might have a playable demo that Yoshi P or someone from SE will play through showing us some actual in game play, either on stage or at a computer with someone interviewing them. announcement of new XIV 2.0 website and then maybe some additional info here on the Lodestone for the oh so loyal XIV fans!

My expectation is that SE should have learnt their lesson by now and should know that 2.0 is pretty much the reason majority of us still hang around and that while some of us could wait until release as its not far, we need something to give us a little more hope/hype until then.

But ya know, its SE, could just be bullshit CGI.

Fancy CS (we know SE has in spades)
Stating and Explaining the Features (like the manifestos)
Gameplay (even if it is broken up or if they throw up the unfinished product disclaimer)

Because SE can't sell this game with a purely cinematic trailer. That's exactly what made the first version disappointing. I mean there are probably still people wondering when will we get synergy based attacks like that flaming arrow and the ice shield from the intro trailer.

Nobody is wondering if they can make a cutscene and there's no point trying to sell the story with a trailer. Everyone's waiting to see the difference between the game they were given two years ago and this new game they expect people to pay for (will they be paying twice if they bought it the first time but haven't been keeping up?) Anyway that's my two cents but if they don't go into it with all this in mind then they will likely do the same as the original trailer...

For too many years I've been getting hyped for E3 and outside of a few moments its nearly always disappointing, so I can safely say... HELL YES E3 HYPEEEEEEEEEE TRAIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNNN!

Will probably be disappointed again lol. Isn't it quite common for SE to show a lot of their games in a private invite only theatre? Or is it confirmed that this is going to be on the floor?
