Never said 2.0 will suck. You are free to quote me if you think i did say that because i know i didn't I said the TRAILER for 2.0 will probably suck and you guys are all expecting way too much out of it. We will find out more about 2.0 only maybe a month before beta.
I actually have faith in the 2.0 trailer. didn't Yoshi himself say he wasn't a fan of CGI based "trailers" which means if a trailer is to be shown at E3 it should be all gameplay footage and not some over-exaggerated depiction of what it's like to decide between leves and face off against epic mobs using a greatsword!
Well, I think it's only wise to not have high expectations for E3 and rather be positively surprised if they do manage to blow our minds. SE's announcements on FFXIV have a tendency to be on the underwhelming side, as their latest "Hidden artifact" stint has proven.
I never said you "SAID" anything.. I get the "VIBE" from your emotions and your choose of wording, that makes me FEEL like, you think that "2.0 is going to fail" ( your free to quote me as well).
It will probably be a 3min CGI heavy video talking about all the new features (e.g., All new maps!, New Server structure!, etc). Those who play and follow this game probably won't see much new, if I had to guess.
Ontop of the new website promoting XIV 2.0 (with information and trailers which he stated long ago it will be information for new people and information current players haven't heard or seen yet.)
Seems this is the main thing people keep forgetting about which is why being on IGN's E3 list or not means very little. Whenever E3 rolls around a lot of games emerge from seemingly out of nowhere.
Yet i was only talking about the TRAILER not the GAME itself as i stated in EVERY SINGLE post.
All may be true (although doubt it will come out at exact time of E3), I am referring specifically to the E3 trailer. I hope it has tons of new stuff and great in-game videos, I just don't think it will happen given all the demands they have to meet. We will see shortly!
