Why do you think it is not making SE's E3 list this year? Why do you think they are not hyping the shit out of that trailer? I mean they need all the attention they can get. And Yoshi-P made sure to mention that a lot of the trailer will be made of stuff we all seen before... why do you think he had to mention that part if it wasn't to calm our expectations?

They would tell us to look forward to their E3 coverage of 2.0 or the trailer if it was such a big deal. All the rep answers would sound like "we will disclose more info on 2.0 come E3... bla bla bla" instead of "we will have more info in the coming MONTHS"....

Yeah, that's what he's doing, but if he really felt that way, he'd be gone with the rest of the people who stopped supporting this game, he does it as more of a "to go against people who have hope for this game" since as you notice, pretty much every topic or post he makes always has some form of "SE sucks", "SE is lazy" or "XIV will fail" yet continues to post on the forums and pay for said game by said company.

It's a common thing with MMO communities and players these days, being negative for the sake of it yet will happily play the game in peace and probably have the basement/room in full (Game) decor secretly.

Actually, I think I agree with him, to a point, and I hardly thing 2.0 is going to suck. Quite the opposite. However, given evidence we've seen in the last few weeks, it does seem quite likely that they are going to be relatively low profile this E3 (I certainly hope not, but that's what signs are pointing to).

No doubt they'll have a booth specifically for FFXIV 2.0 with a new trailer showing off the new engine to people who have never heard of 2.0. But I think we're jumping the gun a bit if we assume that FFXIV's presence at E3 is somehow going to totally blow our socks off. It will be good, probably interesting and somewhat informative; might even see a glimpse of a new class, but at this point, I don't think it's going to be making it into Sony's press conference like it did two years ago, for instance. I hope that isn't the case, but given that Wada has always been a little cautious, it makes sense that they might not overly publish a product that has already "failed" once.

Obviously, as I tried to make clear, I hope that isn't the case. I actually quite love the state of the game right now, and have quite high hopes for 2.0. But I'm also a realist. Things will be as they are and we have to take as much good out of that as we can.
