I'm all for being drunk in a game!
I must admit, that was awesome in WoW for socializing and having fun in town.
And, it's a good warning for kids to show them how stupid they'll look if they drink too much.
Definitely:
- a blurred screen (at least, the edges);
- drunken character movements (the character can't walk straight, the drunker, the worst it gets);
- drunk emotes (character has difficulty standing still, facial expression of a drunkard, etc.)
- drunk text (auto-translate text that insert itself in your sentences, onomatopoeia for example)
LOL cash shop! SE's way to tell their player how they appreciate them... pull the carrot and empty your pockets $$$
And to those who support it: you are kicking yourselves. -- We just need to sit back and laugh at people with cash shop items.
(Marvelous economics IQ test!)
So is this going to be implemented or what? The last time I made this thread there was no word from the mods either. Oh well back to diablo3!
MAGIC MUSHY ROOMS
It took my suggestion thread I made 3 weeks to get a rep response, and that was for a minor change. This suggestion is a tall order, requiring graphics engineers to program shader effects for the blurred screen, gameplay engineers to program the stumbling movement, and at least 1 writer to write the drunken outbursts, not to mention a localization team to translate said outbursts. It's not something they're just going to immediately go "Oh that's a great idea we'll implement it" without a good deal of deliberation. Plus, a rep from these forums has to convey this suggestion to the dev team through the proper channels in the first place, which could take weeks on its own.
tl;dr hold your damn horses :P
Well, technically you don't need a writer. Just visit your local college campus and look for popped collars on a Thursday night and the rest will take care of itself.It took my suggestion thread I made 3 weeks to get a rep response, and that was for a minor change.
