As others have said, Hasty hand is a kind of auto craft, and if you want HQs or exp you HAVE to work for them.

I read the first post and I was hugely reminded of that extremely large MMO that has been running as long as FFXI, has a player base of 10mil and is made by a company named Snowmen, or something.
My point being, don't compare this game to a western game, especially comparing a system that makes FFXIV extremely unique, time consuming but certainly unique. Crafting in other games is simply an after thought compared to End game and PVP, it's just to make some money on the side and often does plunge the market into deflation when a new player rushes through maxing the craft within a day and puts all quickly crafted items on AH and forgets about them.
Crafting in FFXIV is a true accomplishment and being able to make luxury items (like vanya) and sell them is a privilege that you earned. If we all had auto-botting crafts, everyone would be max everything and luxury items will be old news in a few days.
As some have recommended, Hasty Hand is the best option for you if you have little time and do not worry about the quality of the item.
the last thing this game needs is for crafting to cater to people with "little time". If people can do it in little time, then the undercutting and market flooding would be worse hen what we have now.
Just dropping a line, I might be misinformed but I do remember devs mentioning the possibility of "batch crafting" in 2.0.
Given, just speculation but- If they do add a way in which you can throw a lot of raw materials to synth a lot of worked materials at once with a single synth sequence (like an extended version of how, say, 2 cotton bolls gives 1 cotton thread and 6 cotton bolls gives 3 cotton threads) it would probably be exactly what the OP is truly asking for. It also most likely, for all accounts and purposes, would count as a single synth.
The issue with your comparison of a good farming session is then what of the person who just buys the materials? Do they pat themselves on the back for a good investment as they auto-synth? You took it upon yourself to be a gatherer and a crafter so you shouldn't find yourself seeking privilege of having one task easier because of this. You're the one that chose to gather it, and then you yourself are the one who wants to craft it. Should a person who crafts say "Hey gathering is to hard I took all this time to synth these materials and now I need more, gathering should be automatic cause it's tedious to me"
To me you feel crafting is tedious as well and adding things to make it easier because of that just isn't that way to go about it. Perhaps you shouldn't lv crafting if you find it a bore or like others have mentioned use hasty Hands if you are just wanting to obtain the materials. With 55 Danburite if you are over the lv then yea it'll take you about 30 mins to synth them all but hey it beats spending gil to buy them? It all comes down to variables.
You have to look at everything as a whole, consider how much time it takes to gather them, consider how long it would take to synth them, then if you have the gil consider how much it would cost to buy what you want. If you are seeking to save time then you're best off cutting out the part where you gather them yourself and find them through the MW. Or if you just want to lv your craft then perhaps you are better off grabbing Craft leves since you don't have to worry about gathering materials then.
Way to completely undermine a gathering job....
Haven't we already this as the "3 in 1" recipes?Just dropping a line, I might be misinformed but I do remember devs mentioning the possibility of "batch crafting" in 2.0.

Only problem is that it is not available for all recipes

OP the ability you want is called Hasty Hands it still requires input but if you skill level is high enough it does not fail and instantly finishes your craft. FFXIV has one of the most unique crafting systems in an MMO and thank you SE for that.
There was talk of a more automated crafting process from Yoshida a while back. But there has not been much said about it since

If you think it's impossible to bot gathering classes...well I have to tell you that you are wrong, so wrong.
It's not "Difficult" to code a bot that moves to set place on the map and log. Sure it's not the easiest thing to program but it's not impossible and it's allready happening.
