I don't think it's trolling considering they did say a lot of stuff are 'hard/difficult' synthesis.

You guys need to do a little science. Offhand tools generate two NQ results when you trigger HQ on a synth. I am aware of that fact because I just did it (for no good reason I was just levelling WVR with cotton cloth).
Does it apply in any special manner to the high end crafting stuff? Someone needs to check

Well these aren't technically +1 items they have HQ names but when using in actual craft to try and HQ they are treated as NQ materials reason why the 2CH post popped up regarding these flawless items they added for high end crafting, now without any testing I can't say this is true or not, My highest crafting is 46 Armorer or Gold Smithing so dunno if I can craft in the first place to even test myself.

For Ifrit weapons along with being able to be spirit bonded and better equipment being released from 1.22b we will include Ifrit weapons as items you can store Sorry had wrong info... says you can supply Ifrit weapons under Supply like where you turn in Instance Raid weapons/gears...

1.22bではイフリート武器のみですが、今後の状況を鑑み、
モーグリ武器／ガルーダ武器についても、同様の対応を行うかどうかの検討していきます。
In 1.22b it's only for Ifrit weapons but checking the situation later on we will look into addressing the same for Moogle/Garuda weapons as well.

Comment regarding materia for crafter/gatherer

ギャザラーの副器にも達識や博識のマテリアを装着できるようになると嬉しいです！
Sorry to bring this up while everyone is talking about battle classes but would like to have materia attached for gatherers primary tool as well!

ギャザラー／クラフター向けのマテリア装着可能部位が少ない件については、開発チームでも認識しています。
装着可能部位を増やすこと／ギャザラー・クラフター用マテリアの種類の追加については、今後も引き続き検討していきます。
The dev team also acknowledges that there is only few materia slots for gatherer's and crafters. Dev team will continue to looking into possibility of increasing additional attachment slots on other gears and adding more gatherer/crafter materias.
