I guess for Garuda or Ifrit fights or anything complicated it is understandable. But experience points you can mostly get away with it. I'm not blaming them for not wanting to party with English speaking players. I was just wondering whether there's another reason (such as translator not translating well, etc). And also it's very curious that NA/EU players keep using the translator when we ask for invites for Garuda or Ifrit, just in case that lone JP out there would give it a shot.
