To the OP. I think you are a little confused by the article.
He's only referring to items that you will have to craft specifically for HQ quality. In this case, it's "HQ" Cobalt Sabatons. Because the recipe is for HQ Sabatons, and you are required to use only HQ mats. If you succeed in the completion of this craft, then it's 100% HQ.
This would only be for this specific type of craft. The difference being if you were crafting NQ Cobalt Sabatons and you succeeded in a HQ quality, it would be HQ.
Thanks... close thread.the op read it right, i think they just changed their minds.Basically, in order to synthesize an HQ final item, HQ versions of every ingredient must be used. Players are guaranteed to synthesize HQ items if all the ingredients used are HQ. However, it will be very difficult to obtain HQ versions of all ingredients.
The system is perfect as is, even with all HQ there's no way it should guarantee HQ unless you actually work to HQ it. If you're having issues HQing or getting 100% then it's most likely bad luck, 9/10 times when you have 80% you'll HQ so if you don't HQ try again, if you have 40% I say it's still worth doing if your true goal is just to go for HQ.
Continue playing around with skills and you may find yourself finding a method that works for you, but I really don't think that something like HQ should just be handed to you because you're using all HQ mats.
Umm. 80% is 8 times out of 10....jus sayin

If you almost lost your girlfriend then you have issues. Surely another human being is more important than digital items in a game that don't even exist? If you don't believe this then you don't deserve a girlfriend. I'm sorry to sound so harsh but you set yourself up for this one.no.... why should i work for my hq gear...... i almost lost my girlfriend bc i spent 19hour farming hq mats..

I don't get it...that statement is not true at all. My friend had all items HQ'ed and it failed..89% and a double down rate of 51%. I don't understand..how is that guaranteed ???
guaranteed should be 100%. I really hope they fix this or something...I mean its fine if they don't want HQ 100% but don't say something and then do something entirely different. Makes me wonder about all this 2.0 promises.
read all the other posts. we all agree its not true and hasn't been, it was never released as patch notesI don't get it...that statement is not true at all. My friend had all items HQ'ed and it failed..89% and a double down rate of 51%. I don't understand..how is that guaranteed ???

well they did say all hq = hq
but when all hq = hq
price of hq drops down cuz everyone spaming hq so easy. and no one really workf or it.
Are you sure it did not mean:
All HQ ingredients means guarantee of an HQ (chance)?
If you put in all HQ items you start off with enough quality to guarantee a 1% HQ chance. (Unlike NQ where you start off with 0%).
At least, that's how I interpreted it.
Thank you ^.^. I was more focused on the 'All HQ Ingredients' = 'Greater Than 0 HQ% chance'. Which is what happens. I think this thread may be based on the premise of a simple mis understanding.
Oh well, back to crafting. Lots more funner than the previous system(s).
