    AF weapons were the only thing in this patch I was excited for. I'm sure the dev team put a lot of work into the hamlet defences but the rewards just make them uninteresting to me. Tremendously disappointed.

    It's exactly that and people really fail to see it. There are only so many hours in a day.

    I don't know about you, but I've been extremely satisfied with 1.21 and 1.22. I'm willing to grant them a little leeway in terms of job weapons not being added.

    Whenever I'm feeling impatient I just remind myself of the magnitude of changes they're working on. I'm not sure how their staff is divided, but I really get the feeling like ~75% of the people are working on 2.0 specific things. That doesn't leave a ton of people to work on the pre-2.0 items. And as some people have mentioned, we're just coming off of Golden Week. Everyone deserves a break.

    First off I'm going to assume you mean 1.21 and 1.22

    I was extremely happy with 1.21. 1.22 was alright, merchantile houses and another primal are nice to have. Was just really looking forward to having a weapon I could maybe work on getting as opposed to just fighting drop rates on primals (Still want my mog axe, getting doubles of weapons you didnt want in the first place is discouraging) so it's a bit of a bummer. Hopefully 1.22b isn't too far off, pld fix (and now job weapons) can't come soon enough.

    The unfortunate thing is there are some amazing items that come from hamlet defense for gatherers and crafters, they are just incredibly time consuming to get, and you are still at the mercy of the RNG even if you do put forth the effort.

    One of the forum reps confirmed that adjustments are already being made with the release of the new Hamlets in order to balance the requirements for advancing the beastmen ranks, so that shouldn't be a problem.
