    Supply & Demand come into play here, if the demand is fairly low people will drop there price hugely to sell there stuff instead of waiting for days and if the supply is high people will undercut for the same reason.

    You clearly have no idea what the term free market means. Just because something is expensive, doesn't mean it is unaffected by free market principles (such as: luxury goods, equilibrium pricing, etc.).
