I don't play PVP so I really don't knowYou're not "listening" to what I'm saying. I'm also annoyed as heck to see one of the core defining features of BRD going just like that. I want raid buffs on a couple of dedicated buffers. But I'm a child of Foe's Requiem days, and not the raid buff slop that we have today.
DNC partner would have been funnier to use if it had been designed like in pvp, also.

It essentially has no cooldown, can be instantly swapped from a party member to the next with a single keystroke.
It provides damage buffs to both partners (from using Sabre) yes, but also movement speed up (Starfall), mitigation (Fan Dance).
Like in pve, you can stack Waltz for a big heal, and being able to swap the partner around freely in pve would certainly make this use of waltz a lot more interesting as well.
Oh thats kinda cool. I've wanted Kardia style dance partner for ages as swapping when someone dies or to opti party damage is very annoying. It essentially has no cooldown, can be instantly swapped from a party member to the next with a single keystroke.

I have no strong feelings either way about Evolved. Don't think this will "save" or "destroy" the game, so I'm barely gonna poke my nose into these threads, but...
It'll never stop being funny to me how before we knew about Evolved, I saw people on these forums endlessly complaining about the 2 minute meta, how rigid the system was, jobs all feeling the same, and even people suggesting they should make all jobs like PvP...
I already knew that no matter what they did, people were gonna complain. So... I'm just gonna mostly watch now.

I was never one of those who complained and most people who did a lot of high end content didn't complain either.I have no strong feelings either way about Evolved. Those who complained were generally casual players who didn't enrage much with the battle system outside of roulettes and normal raids but were upset that there "was nothing to do in between 2 minute bursts and it was boring" when in reality they werent playing their jobs right and setting up/storing resources for burst but want to face roll their keyboard every second for glowing effects to flash on the screen every second.
SE has listened to the most vocal but it's not good for those who did content at the highest level imo but thats just me.
Most people who played any sort of PvP for any sizable time period realized how flawed that statement was in general, has anyone actually played PvP with the kits and had to play Shatter?, apparently not, not to mention the "2 minute meta" that we had did not need to be fully dismantled, some jobs are better off with the fantasy of buffing others damage, DNC, BRD, AST, NIN. With all 3 of these having some form of damage buff in their kit for years now. And now with what we are seeing, SE going full scorched earth and removing ALL party buffs is a net negative for team coordination and just turns the game into 8 personal dots on a board with almost no interaction between them.... Yes this is a team game! It felt good to coordinate buffs with your team but just like how duty support is being added to everything there seems to be a focus on this being a solo game with NPC's who just happen to actually be other players. Synergy was important. I am withholding my opinion. All we have seen is a glimpse and explanation of evolved mode. We have not seen it used fully or in actual content. Removal of cast timers has me asking, will bosses be attacking more frequently now. Requiring healers to heal more often, and less periods where all the boss is doing. Is smacking the tank like a punching bag.
