Ahhhh Slave Knight Gael was such a cool fight though. But yeah, speaking of him, that could most definitely be a way to bring Dark Souls stuff to FFXIV. Kinda like the Painted World of Ariandel maybe. Could maybe do an alliance raid set with that maybe.

But in terms of difficulty, I gotta say once you actually learn the mechanics, it’s practically like playing FF14 minus the AoE attack lines and etc. I can tell you people cheese boss fights all the time because they got the mechanics memorized to a T and so it’s all straight easy. The only thing that would remotely “difficult” besides that is not having builds, but that’s literally NO DIFFERENT than being leveled up in FFXIV.
I like the idea of the Painted World...

I mean it's not an impossible game but it does reward patience, it's all about telegraphs and learning movements and reflexes. At least speaking for Bloodborne anyway. I mean people do it here too, I remember for Micolash in BB you can just throw poisoned daggers at him and kill him that way. Or make a certain enemy fall to their death. We also here cheese savage mechanics with tank LBs, I recall P6S for example back in EW. I think once you learn anything it becomes easy/easier, but it is a hard (not impossible) game.

I remember was it DS1? I remember trying Asylum Demon and uh, yeah I quit instantly it was the first thing I met and needless to say, I got dunked on and I never went back. Got a PS4, bought Bloodborne, avoided it for 1 year before giving it a 'shot'. Playing on controller was more manageable to me, maybe I'll give DS a go...

Fray did come to mind though he's not part of the main cast or well, a villain.... hmmmm?
