Side note: Apologies to user honest_psycho. I didnt notice their thread on this exact same topic before I made my own. I was more interested in getting my thoughts out to the developers before I lost them and forgot.
I was so happy when I saw the new ascian using a puppet for Cylax much like Nashmeira did when they brought puppetmaster into XI, and was like "ooo yay puppetmaster!", then I remembered this is XIV and all the puppets would likely be in the same vein as that one, a cute plushie, and immediately lost any excitement for a possible future job tease lol

Why does everything have to be so silly or cute in this game...
