You know, I've never heard anyone mention this (And if someone has, sorry for not giving you credit)
But I don't know how I overlooked the possibility that the impact is not the intended result
Dalamud, being man made, could bery likely be a bomb.... a BIG bomb....

Another thing mentioned before is maybe they sealed Odin inside of that mechanism and launched his ass into space. Cause in 2.0 he is supposed to be a roaming storm of pissed off primalness.

It would make sense and explain why the aether of Eorzea is being drained into Dalamud seeing as thats the "lifeblood" of the primals and they thrive on that.

Or maybe Odin is sealed inside the Crystal Tower that's supposed to show up soon. After all it's the tomb of a king and Odin has been a king in FF history.
