Interesting new transmog (glamour) idea from WoW:

So basically, what you want is... Glamour Plates.

Glamours apply to items, not slots. One issue I'm having with that is I just leveled Viper, which uses the same gear as my NIN. The only way I can get the two to display different gear is via the clunky glamour linking system, which can mess up normal glamour switching on jobs with linked glamours. If the appearances applied to slots, then they'd be completely unique to all jobs using the same gear sets.

I think that, in combination with abit of an expansion to glamour plates...would be sweet. And I hope it'd fix the issue with the really intuitive portrait breaking once you touch your gear, it'd be linked to the slots and you can go ahead and upgrade your gear, or level without getting jumpscared by your mugshot.

I'd also love a full rework of the glamour dresser to be abit like GW2, where you can unlock skins permanently once you obtain them. It's kinda absurd to think I constantly need to micromanage the space in the glamour dresser. As someone who loves to collect glam, it kinda sucks. It'd be even more of a glaring issue once glamour restriction get unlocked.

I don't see how it'd be any different than what the armoire is like....

I genuinely hope this isn't 'we can't do it, but you can always buy more retainers for storage space!'

Would be nice actually. I would especially love to have the "outfit changes automatically based on specs" change for us. Allowing my character to auto switch glam when swimming or going to an apartment etc would be a nice and add to the immersion.

This would be amazing. This is nitpicking but it's incredibly hard to swim fully clothed, nevermind with a suit of armor... At least being able to swap my shoes for slippers or walk around barefoot in my apartment would be nice! Or auto-equip pajamas when logging off at the inn bed!

Haha, they can do anything they want if that's their fun, I don't hang out in their usual spots and they never hang out in mine so it's not like we're going to be stepping on any toes here.
I think we will all benefit from more options to customize our characters regardless!
